Product information
The Horseware Rambo Sweetitch Hoody is an eczema rug including a separate mask to fully protect the horse in the summer months.
The eczema rug has a V-front closure on the breastcollar, 3 tabs, fixed neck and extra large tail flap.
The Rambo Sweetitch Hoody is to hog from 1000 denier polyester with a nylon lining on the shoulder and comb comb. A strong, durable and breathable eczema rug.
The rug stops horseflies, flies and dirt and offers protection against UV radiation. Horses and ponies with summer eczema are helped as much as possible by wearing this rug.
The fit is perfect and comfortable. The horse's ears can go through the neck part. When grazing, but also when galloping in the meadow, the neck stays in place and does not slide down. The large strapp flap has an extra elastic through which the tail can pass. This ensures that the tail is well protected at all times. The belly flap has Velcro and thanks to the three webbing, the belly is also well under ruged and this prevents nuisance from insects as much as possible.
The rug can already be used in early March when mosquitoes become active. Research shows that the Rambo Sweetitch Hoody reduces 85% summer eczema.
This rug is equipped with the Horseware Liner System for combining with the Horseware Waterproof Fly back liner under rug. This can be ordered separately and ensures that the back of the horse stays dry on wet summer days, without the rug being too warm. On dry days it is very easy to remove from underneath.

Maintenance advice
Maintenance of your horse rugs
In principle, you can simply wash your rugs in the washing machine at 30 ° Celsius, but with each wash you can check the waterproofness of your blanket. Washing once out of need is not a problem, but regular washing is not recommended. Would you like to wash the blanket more often? Or just clean your blanket extra well? Then bring it to a special horse blanket laundry. These are specialized in washing and cleaning horse rugs. They use special detergents and impregnation agents to keep your blanket nice and waterproof. Do you prefer to do it yourself but do not you dare to touch the washing machine? Then use some lukewarm / warm water without soap and gently brush off the dirt with a soft brush after soaking in water. The best thing is if you can hang the blanket to dry in the sun. This way you prevent the lining from accumulating in a lump.
This is of course not the case with fleece rugs, stall rugs, fly rugs, eczema rugs and rugs. These rugs are in fact not waterproof. You can wash these rugs in the washing machine at 30 ° Celsius.
Tips
- In connection with allergic reactions to washing, do not use any or only special detergents. Never use standard soap and / or detergents.
- Hang the rugs well to allow them to dry properly. This way you prevent the lining from accumulating in a lump.
